Check-in is any time after 14:00. Check-out by 11:00. Should you require an early check-in or late check-out, please be in touch and we will make every effort accommodate your request.
A 4×4 vehicle is not necessary. We recommend avoiding vehicles with extremely low ground clearance due to the terrain.
Our Vredefort Dome accommodation is in a Malaria-free area.
Daytime summer temperatures (September – April) are warm to high and temperatures may soar above 36°C/97°F. Evenings and early mornings are warm. Winters (May – August) have chilly nights and crisp early mornings ( 2°C/35°F). Rainfall usually occurs in the summer months from October to April in the form of magnificent late afternoon/evening thundershowers.
Yes. We have an inverter and generator available in the event of load shedding or a power outage.
Available to you at your leisure, you have access to a range of complimentary activities at our farm lodge, including bird watching and stargazing, a heated rim flow pool, a pool table, and the opportunity to walk, trail run, or mountain bike on the jeep tracks (please bring your own equipment). There is a cinema-style TV for viewing your favourite sports games or movies. The sunset game drive is at an extra charge and includes drinks and snacks.
There are designated smoking areas available and ashtrays can be provided upon request.
